Die International Classical Music Awards (kurz ICMA) gehören zu den bedeutendsten Musikpreisen für klassische Musik weltweit. Am 18. Januar 2023 wurden die diesjährigen Gewinner bekannt gegeben. Die Trophäen werden überreicht am 21. April 2023 im National Forum of Music in Breslau (Wroclaw) und im Anschluss findet das ICMA-Gala-Concert statt.
Die Naxos Music Group freut sich über Auszeichnung “Label of the Year” für das hauseigene Musiklabel “Naxos”. Darüber hinaus freuen wir uns sehr über die Auszeichnungen für unsere Vertriebslabels IBS Classical (Solo Instrument: Haydn: Piano Sonatas von Josu de Solaun), Accentus (Video, Performance & Documentaries: Metanoia, ein Film von Paul Smaczny) und BSO Recordings (Video, Opera: Hans Abrahamsen: The Snow Queen mit Barbara Hannigan, Bayerisches Staatsorchester, geleitet von Cornelius Meister).
Der ICMA ist ein bedeutender europäischer Musikpreis, der seit 2011 von einer Fachjury aus 19 Juroren und Jurorinnen aus 15 Ländern – aus Belgien, Deutschland, Finnland, Frankreich, Großbritannien, Italien, Kroatien, Luxemburg, Österreich, Polen, Rumänien, Russland, Schweiz, Spanien und der Türkei – gewählt wird.
